By life stage
Where San Antonio families usually start
Veterans and military families
Coverage from military service can change or end after separation. I help you compare what you have with what your family still needs.
Retirees
Set aside coverage for end-of-life bills so your family is not left with them, and add limited benefit health coverage if it fits.
Homeowners
More than half of San Antonio homes are owner-occupied. Coverage sized to the mortgage helps your family keep the house.
Young families
Term life replaces your income while the kids are growing up.
Pre-retirees
Turn savings into retirement income while keeping them safe from market drops.

I have life insurance from my military service. Do I need more?
It depends on how much your family would need and whether that coverage continues after you leave the service. I compare the amount and how long it lasts with your mortgage, debts and income, then show you options to fill any gap. You decide.

Questions
San Antonio coverage questions
Do you have an office in San Antonio?
No. Golden Years Protection is based in Fort Worth, and I work with San Antonio families by phone or video, so there is no office to drive to. Call 682-254-1786 and you work with me personally.
Should veterans keep coverage from their service?
Often it makes sense to keep what you have and look at whether it is enough. Some coverage tied to service changes or ends after separation. I compare it with what your family needs and explain options to fill the gap. I do not give advice on military or VA benefits themselves.
What does final expense insurance cover for a San Antonio retiree?
It is a modest whole life policy built to pay for a funeral and final bills. Most policies range from $5,000 to $50,000 of coverage. Many rely on health questions instead of a medical exam, and whether you qualify depends on the policy and your health.
How much life insurance does my family need?
A common starting point is enough to pay off the mortgage and other debts, replace several years of income and cover final expenses. Then subtract savings and any coverage you already have, including coverage from service or work.
Should a San Antonio family choose term or whole life?
Term life protects you for a set period, like 20 or 30 years, while the kids grow and the house gets paid down. Whole life never expires while the policy stays in force, and it builds cash value. Many military families keep both kinds.
